Must-haves 4 ur Session:
Shutterbug's strives to give you a lot of creativity and variety. To do this, you should have the following on hand:
- Your favorite casual outfit. (The way you really are)
- Your favorite dressy outfit (The way Mom wants to see you)
- Your sports/hobby/club attire and accessories. (Such as musical instrument, sports uniform or ball, your pet, etc.)
Suggestions:
These suggestions can turn an average picture into an extraordinary portrait!
- I strongly suggest that you wear shirts with sleeves (rather than tanks and halters) so the emphasis is kept on your face, not on your arms.
- Stay away from stripes and bold prints as they draw attention away from you. Variety in your clothing style and colors will give you the best variety in your portrait session.
- Ladies- It is important to wear a bit more make-up than normal (especially if you normally wear none!) so you do not look washed out in your final photos. Be sure to have fingernails and toenails painted, as they often will show in your photos. Don't try any 'new' hairstyles the day of your session, as you most likely will not like it in your final portraits.
- Jewelry should not be too big or too reflective. Big shiny items reflect the studio lights and compete for attention in your portrait. Same goes with glasses, so be prepared to remove them for your portraits.
- I can digitally retouch all portraits, and have always upheld our blemish-free guarantee!
